Power for the site is created by two generators located in the shop area. Snow is melted with the aid of a heat recovery system from the generators to produce fresh water. Electricity and water are delivered to the winter over quarters in the Green House through a bondstrand conduit. During the summer season, daily runs for fresh water must be made from the melters to the Big House with the aid of a small tank on a snowmobile.
