Cargo is delivered to site on large pallets by Hercules C-130's. The palletes are combat offloaded, meaning that as the plane is moving along the skiway, the pallets are pushed out the back. To prevent stored cargo from becoming buried by the drifting snow, pallets are placed onto the top of large berms.
