The skiway runs for nearly 15,000 feet, northeast to southwest, at the edge of camp. It is capable of landing large C-130 aircraft. A large amount of attention is placed on keeping the skiway plowed and in optimal shape. The existence of the camp depends on aircraft being able to land.
